Looking forward to this one.
When Crob says āHuhā itās easier if you think of him as saying āYou just said something important but I donāt understand whyā
3 hours and 55 minutes! Thatās more than my commute sorted for the week! Stoked.
āShit, whatās this dudeās name againā¦?ā
This episode is a complete nerd-fest. Loving it!!
Itās really good. Heās so nice. Itās funny hearing him describe what he does to the viewers, and then again for Chris Roberts.
Oh my, this is the best episode ever! Heās literally explaining exactly how my brain works about skate hardwear. I think heās me real dad! Although heās far too clever for that to be. Iām just the stupid lazy version of him. I found myself smiling when he was explaining exactly what my pivot balance diagram thing does. ha
Still got an hour to go.
I now want a board with 2 fingers space worth of flat on the nose and tail. Super flat concave.
I wonder if he consults online, would happily pay for this shit
I canāt stand the boards with that finger space, coupled with Indyās youād be wheelying around uncontrollably. I like to feel the kick right on the pivot point, otherwise I canāt find the bite for manuals. If you have loads of flat in that area there is too much space to vary that bite so you might get into manuals easier but theyād be way less controlled.
Horses for courses aye
innit
I had a Stereo boards with the flat space on the nose. Could not balance a nose manual on it for love nor money! AVOID!
I think I have a hardware problem.
Thatās great news.
Itās not me.
Just getting into this.
The comment about Fausto/thrasher is pretty interestingā¦been shooting for the mag for 4 years but never earned a penny, so when Fausto asked to go into business with him, he turned him down.
Same with the Brad Doffman comments. No hate, just no love.
Didnāt realise he invented rounded edged boards too! So much nerd out!!
I think that itās been posted on the forum before but hereās the āPop Higher Ollies with Scienceā video that gets mentionedā¦
Iām half way through the Schmitt schtick and really enjoying it. Pleasantly surprised to see less nerdy people like it too!
As grown up and educational as this one was, I did chuckle at CRobās āHeās used to a thin rail sliding into a crackā line early on.
pretty much finished this last night, pressed pause and i was only on 1hour 26.
i did mike v in one sitting, this is may be my lowest point.
