Wonder who they’ll have for the 200th one.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s Rocco.
(Reality check: I know it’s not likely to be Rocco).
I feel like Rocco’s story has been told many times in documentaries, books, ect, and Rocco likes to be in control of telling it. Has Jeremy Fox ever done a podcast or many interviews? That could be interesting. They must have someone good or you feel like they’d of held back (like or hate him) Danny Way’s one for it if they didn’t?
Natas could be a good one…and he’s just down the road from them. You never know, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
Maybe they should just get OG Steve Olson back on - he’s always good for a laugh.
Last Jeremy Fox interview I read was in a Transworld Business from about 20 years ago.
Rocco was in something quite recently that surprised me but I can’t think what. He’s kind of the same in everything, just giggling and saying how they didn’t know what they were doing. I keep thinking it’s the Harry Jumonji doc, but that had the similarly-interesting-and-reclusive Jeremy Henderson in it.
tl:dr: Yeah fuck knows.
I always think of the other Jeremy Henderson front rock photo on the Harlem Banks from that issue of Skateboard! * (the head band, white tee, shorts and DV8s or 9s one), whenever his name comes up. I think he’s wearing the same purple knee gasket in that as he is on the Thrasher cover. That one and the sketchy edger at Harrow are some of those photos that are burned into my memory from staring at them for hours.
*actually it might have been in R.A.D., but you get the point.
Claus Grabke
‘’How shit is Grabke? Proper shit.’’
So good man
Jim T would be amazing.
What we saying, is this suciu one worth it?
Gonz could be interesting, but pretty sure he’s said that he wasn’t interested in the past.
I feel like Mark Gonzales would have a terrible time with those people.
KB surely.
Crob turns the tables and interviews himself. Unfortunately, he still can’t be bothered to do any research prior to the interview and Crob 2 storms out.
Totally.
I don’t think you could compress his career into a satisfying interview of that format either.
“So you used to skate for Real? Have I got that right?”
Followed by, ten minutes later, ‘so, when you were skating for Real…’.
