Same here, and I actually like the Stop And Chat episodes much more than the regular pre-Covid formula. Seems more spontaneous which makes C-Rob’s ignorance less obvious maybe. Whatever, it’s free, don’t listent to it if you don’t like it. And I love when people talk about their setup, especially when they’re super nerdy about it.
I think that the fact that skaters can now talk about their tricks/video parts makes the Stop and Chat better. You don’t have to much added filler chat anymore. Running out of things to talk about? Lets go to the tricks… which I always find interesting. The skaters get as much time as they want to talk about any stories behind them, which hasn’t always been the case in the past.

I’d say my only issue with the podcast In general has been the focus on video content which is fine if you’re watching but a bit crap if your listening whilst driving or working and don’t have a videographic memory when it comes to 25 year old clips or viral content.
That said I do enjoy the stop and chat format as barring the odd guest moat are more comfortable in their own gaff than at the table, Tommy Sandoval seemed to redeem himself in his.
Thankfully when it comes to Wade D clips I do. But yeah, would have been a ballache if I didn’t know what tricks they were on about!
Thought this was a good one. I never read Big Brother and obviously only knew him from Jackass but I didn’t know WeeMan was so deep in skateboarding.

I too would struggle to want to give a fuck about what Joey Brezinski thinks about anything whatsoever right now.
51 minutes left in the Blabac episode and it’s pretty good. Blabac seems like such a great guy.

The Blabac episode is an enjoyable one. No matter how disinterested, uninformed, incapable of listening, ignorant and terrible at interviewing Crob is, it’s fully outshined by all the positives Mike brings to the table.

Interviewed him for Slam and it was like chatting to a mate. Such a pleasure.
And a few weeks after a big DC envelope showed up here with prints in it for me. Totally unnecessary of him, but such a stoke for me.

I saw the footy of him going through his stem cell treatment on his insta. Looked totally brutal.
I’ll admit that I let out a groan when I saw that this week’s guest was Danny Way. But, so far it’s pretty watchable.
Interesting stuff about how Danny switching from H-Street to Blind and back pre Plan B was kind of premeditated or, at least, opportunistic in respect to having Danny act as a recruiter for putting together the OG Plan B team.
