Nah, I don’t think any skater can tempt me to press play nowadays. You can guarantee that Chris will not ask the right questions and press to get the real good stuff, anyone with a half decent story is giving them up themselves because they are desperate to be there and tell them.
Templeton, Shier, Brady, Mariano - they’re probably the only people who I would tune in for at this point.

Can someone go in on Jamie Thomas ep and let me know if Warsaw is anything other than the usual shoes with a new logo idea
Started listening to the first part of it. Warsaw doesn’t have big logos on the side so you can wear them to a wedding, a date and still be able to skate in them. And there is a cross stitched on the side panel as a show of going against having big logos on the side of shoes. That’s about as much as I’ve heard so far, other then the story of changing shoe sponsors

Hardly ever heard of the latest guest Bryce Wettstein? Might have seen her do a trick or two in a bowl montage?
I can’t decide if she’s high as a kite? A pure charicature of ditsy Californian hippy? Or genuinely so lovely that I wonder if she knows about any of the struggles going on in the world outside her bubble or protect her from such negativity because it might kill her like a care bear?

She’s a competition skater first and foremost. Been in most of the Olympic qualifying stuff and park series comps for years.

Don’t think I could watch it, haven’t watched a 9 club in so long, Chris has just become unbearable.
Positivity is a weird one because I do believe that anyone can do anything if they want to, the problem is and when it becomes toxic is when praise is given unnecessarily. People need to know when they are good and when they are shit or whatever in between. And it’s ok to be shit at something, it shouldn’t stop you doing it but you need to know your level and why you’re doing it.
Anyway. Fuck the ukelele!

It’s not podcasts that botherme as I can just ignore them, I barely know about most. It’s more the fact that everybody is just trying to make content as a way of making a living. Colleges are cutting trade courses, music, art and content creation courses are popping up everywhere.

What is the point of having the same guest on again? The original was probably boring anyway, did the skater decide that actually that one story that didn’t come up is worthy of doing it all again.
