Nine Club

Staggering stupidity from Chris Roberts. Or maybe it’s just been so long since I watched this that I forgot. Playing the Santa Cruz video that he’s not even in, too.

Thought it was pretty weird when Mike mentioned having alopecia, instead of asking him about it, which seems like quite a human response to something like that, they just started talking about the death lens again instead.

I wonder if Crob has a helper or assistant to manage his life? It seems unlikely he can be this thick and do it on his own.

I thought they sold Mike short on his skate career. Where was the talk on his Hating Life part?

I gave crob so many chances a the start of 9 club but he’s insufferable. No respect for the guests, he’s just constantly thinking of what he’s going to say next, doesn’t take any info in.
Dude is thick as fuck.
I will try and watch this though because Manzoori is a great.
Gutted that they didn’t even mention Hating Life ^^^ Travesty.

Manzoori rules, a pleasure to see him get some shine

agreed, spending an interview being asked about other companies, other skaters, other filmers, feels wasteful.

the low guess-timate of 80,000 VHS copies of Menikmati sold is mad

and still no love for Dan Wolfe on the rolling long lens. wot

It’s worth persevering because it’s Manzoori, but watch out for serious low points like when Crob sniggers because Manzoori talks about the ‘tight hole’ that Penny ollied through for the Sidewalk cover. Cue Manzoori awkwardly try to ignore it and move the conversation on.

Mike did well to ignore that as best as anybody could, but fucking hell. Says it all.

I didn’t remember that whole Cops thing at the beginning of La La Land. Not sure if anyone used to watch My Name is Earl but they completely ripped that off in one episode. I guess Jason Lee must have been in Julio de la cruz’s orbit in the Blind days.
