My foot started hurting for no reason last Saturday. I was judging a comp so I skated loads all day between the heats and then drank loads of beer and had zero food so I suspect I got slightly dehydrated and my muscles/joints hurt because of that. Seems kinda weird but what isn’t when you’re 37 and still skate 2-3 times a week? Hopefully it’ll get better soon, I don’t want to be hurt again, I’ve had enough of that for a decade or two.

Sounds like the 5/2 diet, which was a fad a couple of years ago. It did work though, weirdly. Omelette and soup two days a week, and just try not to be a big fat Michael Fabricant the other days. Bosh. Slight difference after a few weeks.
My diet tips.
No booze during the week (still working on this one)
Skip breakfast if you’re not mega hungry
No biscuits, cereal, bread, choc, crisps (unless in pub), or pop
Apart from that eat whatever you want
Fruit for breakfast is good, then you can potentially skip the other meals.
Also gin during the week is allowed.

hope your does to man. mines almost back to normal, swelled up massive the evening I did it but now it only hurts a bit doing (attempting) Nollie heels tricks. think if it was my younger days I would have probably been back to normal in about a day. might be time to start doing some warm up stretches!
