Someone in my son’s class are sisters but born in the same year, our old neighbour referred to them as gypsy twins. Must have had one born in January and get pregnant not long after for them to be born in the same year
I definitely do, but choose to embrace it.
Must need surgery that?
Looks like a transformation scene from the fly.
Oof. Getting Manimal flashbacks off that.
Oof. Gnarly…
What’s with the orangey brown skin, is it from the cast stopping you washing?
It’s just the bruising and swelling. It’s not iodine or anything. Fucking gross.
Luckily nope (so far). Bones are still reasonably facing each other but I think I can permanently say goodbye to two knuckles.
District 9
I have that situation on my right big toe. All fused together into one big broken lump. You’ll end up having to buy increasingly wider gloves.
Fuck a duck that looks nasty. Hope you get some good treatment
First day this year leaving for work in the dark and coming home in the dark.
I’m working in a large open plan office, and the only other person in today is a new person on my team - they’re sat 2 seats down from me and are having a full Teams meeting.
They’re laughing every other sentence for some inexplicable reason and are a LOUD TALKER, and it’s doing my tits in. 10.30 on a Friday, I just want some quiet.
I haven’t even spoken to them yet other than to say hello and I’ve already turned against them
I’ve experienced that and worse (full blazing rows) in open plan offices in the past. You can’t avoid it either as Teams calls in offices won’t be going away any time soon if you have people in your team who live abroad or just need to be at home from time to time.
Maybe future offices will be collections of pods to work in?!
I’m a loud talker sorry
Last time I went into our office over a year ago (modern open plan) the radio was on and people were chilling about and playing pool
Not been back since…in fact come March 25 I’ll have been in the office twice in 5 years.
I do miss the 1970’s style partitions where you’d have 4-6 people in one section. Always a head scratcher when you have, say, developers next to people who are talking shite in meetings all day.
