Got a dartboard and darts for Xmas off the inlaws. Nowhere to put it, garage is bloody freezing and the wife is dead set against it going up in any room. Which is fair. Going to see if I can return it

Was just going to pay for a deck and noticed it was fully dipped. I fucking hate dipped decks. Tempted to get the orbital out and clear coat it myself. Anyone else done this before?

I used to hate dipped decks too but they’ve grown on me.
Just sand the edges with griptape scraps I’d say.
I always felt dipped decks felt soggy and not crisp. I’m only smashing into curbs so maybe il just deal with it

Massive fire in a bar here last night, 10 minutes from where I grew up. 40 people killed, 115 injured, a lot of them are in critical condition, most of them are teenagers. So fucking grim. One of the worst tragedies Switzerland has experienced. A lot of unidentified bodies. So many parents freaking out, friends of my friends… I personally don’t know anyone directly involved in this but fuck, the country as a whole is crying tonight.
It’s all over the news here, brutal.
4 hours trying to film a line didn’t get it. 100% have a parking ticket as well when I get back to the car.

First day back at work. Putting my once a year snow boots on this morning I tweaked my back.

My wifes gone to the hospital tor a fairly gnarly heart procedure and I’m trying to work from a wetherspoons in the middle of a flyover.
Patking your car at a city hospital could be an Olympic event.

It put a cloud over all of christmas tbh because obviously she’s been stressing about it since she got the appointment.
I dont really understand it but involves sort of chemically burning a bit of her heart to stop these mad palpitations she gets sometimes.
Doesn’t sound very nice but hopefully it’s all sorted after today.
