I’ve had loads of groin pain too from just kicking a football. Just the act of kicking a football a few times.
My wifes a physio and she’s pretty sure I’ve done something to my sportmans groin as well.
My pain is in a line deep inside me above my pubes.
Been struggling to get out of bed and sneezing hurts let alone physical activity.

Yes mate, shooting pain to it from coughing and sneezing. So weird to describe. Right in the crevice of the groin. Made it particular awkward when the physio had a good route around - less so if it’s your wife .
Mine flares from any type of open gate movement, so for skating that’s pretty much anything involving popping a trick, day to day getting in the car/bath/bed.
Sneezed and felt my Rib pop or some shit.
Always heard of people sneezing and putting their backs out and now I’m pretty much crippled.

Mother phones this morning, he got another infection, he was in day care and they took him to hospital, infections really bad and her words are that it doesn’t look like he can fight this one

My uncles got same situation due to his catheter. We’ve had ‘the call’ from the care home GP about four times so far and each time he’s miraculously got better and was sat eating his tea when we got there. I hope you get some better news too.
Sadly this is what happened to my father in law. Just show him love and support each other. 
after a dash to the hospital it seems that he’s got Sepsis. they’re pumping him full of antibiotics but its a waiting game now. They actually seemed positive when speaking to the nurse so he may be ok after all, we’ll just have to wait and see
never seen him look like that, I said to my wife that he looked like my grandfather, a proper old man, first time i’ve seen him like that
