It has rained every day in the UK since the begining of 2026. Breaking the record from 1985. With more rain to come.
We had a year like that in Brussels a while back. It rained everyday without fail November through to August.
Mint can’t wait
Thought Global warming was going to make it 40c everyday and we were going to die? Fuck this, I’m off to set fire to some plastic.
Looks like Exeter is set to get a Route One.
Fucking lame.
Dark irony - 420 skatestore once paid the deposit to lease this premises. They never opened.
They really are the Wetherspoons of U.K. skating.
Just saw the advert for staff in Exeter earlier. Sadly it’ll be the only place to look at hardware in the city now.
Go there, check shit out then order it from Ten & Fower.
Went to Cyber Cafe Skateshop today in Lisbon. Copped a T - I have to buy one whenever I go to a city with an SOS there
Shop tees are the coolest tees.
Just paid £3 to print a piece of A4 paper fucking hell
Quit facebook years ago but still use messenger mainly for keeping in touch with my missus but as she’s moving in properly I decided to get rid of messenger as well.
I have to log back in to FB to fully delete but have to go through the forgot password rigmarole but it keeps saying that I can’t progress as i’m on a new device (i’m not) and they have to protect my account I have to use this device and facebook for a while. WTF? I don’t want to protect my account, just get rid of it, jeez.
No idea what it’s like now but when I quit FB years ago, I made sure to take the time to delete every single thing I liked, posted, friends etc. It took a while but was necessary because if you don’t when you quit, they hold onto all that info. Then, when you do decide to quit, you need to make sure you don’t login using that account - even for messenger - for something mad like 6 months otherwise they boot it all back up again. I think my account is gone now but otherwise if you look for me there’s nothing to see.
Yeah, I deleted everything so it’s just a shell and I never actually used my name or entered a real birthday. Still, a pain in the arse.
I barely look at Facebook, but when I do it’s so easy to get sucked into doom scrolling through short form videos of people making elaborate wood joints or 5 minute hacks of making shite out of more shite.
I have seen a massive uptake of right wing/reform/take britain back stuff recently and I can’t seem to turn it off.
I know it’s all poison, but for some reason I can’t seem to bring myself to get shot of it, one pal contacts me through messenger and the wife sends me old photos of the wean and the dog we used to have.
A few times now, I’ve deactivated for months but always slipped back in to check a couple of groups.
I’m on a 169 day streak at the moment and seemed to have encouraged the one friend that would message me through FB onto WhatsApp.
The time to kill it completely could be here.
Been to see a physio this morning following 2-3 months of groin pain, cause is a sportsmans hernia, thankfully not a legit hernia.
1 month until I can attempt to stretch it. No skateboarding for estimated 3-6 months & supposed to be running a half marathon in 3 months.
Gutted, Anyone had any experience of the recovery?
I disliked the concept and reluctantly set myself up on it maybe in 2011. I was off it before I was married in 2012. One of the last straws of bullshit on that platform was a husband and wife replying to each other, in the same house, commenting on their tea…“mmm…it was lovely darling”. I’m. Out.
