Was in a teams meeting earlier, had zoned out and was reading an article when I heard my name and the question ‘what do you think?’
I completely froze and instead of just saying ‘sorry I missed the question, can you repeat’ I just um and ah’d myself into an anxiety spiral that seemed to last for minutes (was only like 10 seconds), and just mumbled something about agreeing.
Really embarrassing and it turns out I’ve agreed to give a training course to the organisation, so that’ll teach me not to pay attention.

Picked up my caravan from its annual service, paid the bill and then promptly caught the rear of the caravan on a fence whilst leaving the dealership. Long story short…looks like summer holidays are potentially not going to happen depending upon how long it takes to get fixed. Bottom and rear awning rails are knackered and side panel is cracked.
A pain in the arse but not the end of the world

Ah man. Great lad.
I didn’t know Rio that well, but I remember when I first proper met him filming the Part Timers edit where he just absolutely killed it at every spot we went to. Mental bag of tricks, super dope style and to top it off, he was humble and super tidy to chat with. No ego or owt.
I just remember seeing him blast those super late one foot airs at Delside, looked like he was just manipulating time from where I was standing and space mid-air.

Incredibly fucking sad 
Don’t know the guy or anything about him apart from the clips I’ve seen of him skating. Judging from his insta activity he was clearly very talented and starting to blow up a bit. Very very sad, so young!

That part above is excellent.
Used to skate with him every week when he was tiny and used to go to the XC with his Dad. He was super good even then.

Still a bit jet lagged. Somehow pulled a heap of muscles at the gym, so struggling to walk. Got 101 life admin things to do.
Somehow my wife has organised a weekend away with friends a 3 hour drive away for us all. Not exactly sure I have the mental or physical fortitude for it, or any option to bail.

Hopefully the friends are good people easy to hang with. Maybe try and use the break to relax a bit. Sounds likr you need it.
Can’t believe the news about Rio. Amazingly gifted on a skateboard and seemed to be pretty together and level headed about everything.

£45 quid to have the dog groomed on Friday. Wife has returned from walking him after he’d had several goes at faceplanting into fox shit. Had to stop myself from drowning the fucker in the bath.
Of all the things that dogs do this is one thing that I cannot stand.
