Some cunt smashed my rear window in while I was out yesterday.
One of my mates distributes their stuff here and was supposed to get this series this month too but hasn’t gotten anything yet either so don’t panic. I’ll see if I can get any info.
Fuck man the last few weeks have been a nightmare. Daughter has stinking cold, which she gave to me and looks like wife now has it. Wife also just started a new job and is having to travel to meet a load of company CEOs. Means I am having to stay at home as daycare won’t take daughter as she’s ill. We can’t get a ful time babysitter, only the odd day here and there. It’s a nightmare as I’ve been working on a product which finally launches on Monday so my ability to attend work at all has been massively impacted. Also launch is on same day as Ben’s funeral which I’m flying back for. So I look shit because I’ve barely been in work over past 3 weeks, I’m physically sick and emotionally a bit frail. All an incredible shitstorm that seems to culminate in the next week or so.

Turbo deal with work launching that new site. Launched last Tuesday a load of fuck ups to deal with, and now have the MD hassling about PPC which takes weeks to learn etc.
I feel the same with work, having to work from home tomorrow as well. Pay review on Friday too, worried about it.
Car window smashed on Saturday. Mrs and little boy away in France missing them loads. Now skint already because of stupid window and a bunch of other shit.
Been trying to get out and skate, at least built some stuff at the Ballroom on Saturday. Trying to use Pspliff, Ben, Phelps etc as motivation to get out utilise my days. Slowly getting better but until I pass my driving test I’m kind of stuck.
Fou Maxime, it sounds like the WE boards were made but the guy running things over there isn’t super efficient. I’ll try to get more info if I see my mate tonight.
Spankatron, Neddy Bear, this sucks to hear but you know life is made of ups and downs and shit’s gonna get better soon. 2019 has been pretty weird for me so far but a lot of things are gonna change and I try to be as positive as I can. Stay strong.
My Mrs is stay at home parent. And I’ve just done 8 days away, longest I’ve been away so far. She got into this organised mum method of cleaning or something. So that had been her focus whilst I was away and being sure to have something on everyday to keep her sane. And yeh TV helps with the 3 year old because it buys you time to do anything you desperately need to.
my little boy is completely obsessed with watching videos of trains on you tube. hour long compilations of trains going past the camera, he is two. sitting there happy as a pig in shit, train! choo choo! means i get shit done in the morning and its not fucking paw patrol
I fucking love those. That’s a Scandinavian thing I think. We spent a few days visiting some folks in Copenhagen and Aarhus and pretty much every evening ended with us all chilling with some drinks while a projector threw up a big snowy train ride on the wall. It’s super chill.
Edit - oh a bit different, these were videos from a camera on the front of a train as it goes through the mountains and fjords etc. Not trains going past. More about the journey, less about that trains. Recommended.
We have a “Railway Carriage” meeting pod at work so I put those videos on loop every morning on their TVs!
