The boxing thing is complicated.
I saw the footage and I thought, that’s a bloke, punching a woman. But it turns out the Algerian boxer isn’t, and never has been, a bloke. She was born a she rather than identifying as one in later life.
Against that, I’m reading that she has some sort of rare condition that results in elevated testosterone and male-like characteristics.
Does this give her an unfair advantage? Or is it like the unusual heart and lung capacity that some athletes are born with? Does it make it unsafe for her to fight ‘regular’ women?
I’m glad I don’t have to make the decision.’

Also saw posts of her boxing records. From the headlines you would have thought they were putting women up against Anthony Joshua.
She’s lost 9/36 and only KO’d 3 of her wins. Shows she’s far from a juiced up monster and is regularly defeated by women.
Not pretending I have any answers but clear the vast majority of people posting on Twitter have taken 5 seconds to read and watch then jump on the band waggon.

Just saw the last few laps of the 10k final. Those guys seriously go for it in the last couple of laps. They run more than twice as fast as I did when I ran regularly.
