As good as he is, and I do like his skating… who gives a shit about fashion brands. Their efforts always look like the new guy at Brantano has told the cheapest chinese factory to mix every design they have got. They make anyones skating look worse than it would have if they were sponsored by rick owens

Seems like an insane clause to insert if you’re giving someone a pro shoe, but then again DC are hardly shrewd or particularly influential shoe people.

Yeah, I’d expect you’d sort that out if you were promoting multiple different clothing/shoe companies before signing.
They’re definitely surfing the wave of legacy designs right now with all those massive chunky things they’re flogging.
The Lucien shoe itself is probably one of the chunkiest they’ve ever made as well but then the LV models he wore before were all massive as well.
