enjoi did seem to be going nowhere even before it went/got sold off. I understand Louie having massive sentimental reasons for wanting it back but I think it had its day.
At least it’s not some 10 year hiatus like Plan-B or Stereo I guess.
My mate seemed pretty hyped on Enjoi coming back and reckoned he’d buy a board. I skated an Enjoi R7 board in the late 00’s and it was decent, but nothing since. Can’t really see it doing well - look at the sale sections of shops…
I got those gloves over 10 years ago and still have them. Got lots of compliments about them, women saying how lovely the colours were and all that. For some reason they seemed less impressed when I said two in the pink, one in the stink.

And the cat one
I kind of disagree on Jacuzzi personally, I’ve liked a few of their boards and their video output so far has been enjoyable.
Outside of the art direction though I’m not sure there’s enough difference between jacuzzi and enjoi to justify having teams for both. Especially with Louie presumably heading up both? Didn’t he say Enjoi was selling really well before it went under, which is why it was a surprise, but presumably not well enough for the audience to now be split between two similar-ish companies.
It makes sense to keep Jacuzzi completely separate and the primary brand as they’re going to connect most with the current generation. Whereas Enjoi is peak millennial.
Having said that, if Enjoi made a coffee table book with all the ads, I’d 100% buy it
This. Lots of millennial nostalgia, but will an aging skate demographic buy the boards? Doubtful.
I had a folder filled with Enjoi ads at one point. There was a decent archive of them online…probably long gone.
Was in Ideal the other week. Zip said that Jacuzzi metallic print fish board has been absolutely flying out.
They sold 2 to walk-in punters whilst I was in there!
Been trying to find the first ad I ever remember seeing. It was MJ with a knitted bear or something that had a boner…
My mate is gagging, said he’ll defo buy one! He is 35 though, which I think is bang on millennial.
Cliche coming back, and Scheckles on zero
Would buy Cliche boards but holding out for the Darkstar return.
