Sean Sheffey’s late-shuvs in Questionable were good. My personal fav of his is the one over the bump/school bench at 0:48, the mini-ramp ones at the start are cool too.
I don’t think I’ve ever hated a ‘trick’ as much.
All tricks are legit if they are done well. Lots of tricks are not done well. People are barely making tricks nowadays but it’s no big deal. Do what you feel innit.
I feel like you’re worthy of media attention if you’re doing some well, new or unique.
Pretty hard for gatekeepers in the social media age. Got to say I think a lot of skaters got free passes over the last 5 years or so - especially the ride on crowd. Things seem to be stabilizing now.
Impossibles were pretty illegal from 1994 to 2000ish.
Proper one foots were always rad in my book.
Late shoves are my guilty pleasure. They feel really good.
Tim O’Connor filmed one as a joke for EE3, the vid had a strong impact worldwide and people started doing them again after that.
MJ did a lot of late shoves but I can’t remember seeing him do a kickflip late shove. Alex Moul did them loads. Kerry Getz had a good one.
Solid addition I’d say.
This one came up coincidentally after reading this. Also worth watching the whole thing for the last trick
Also Tyler Surrey’s switch one over the bump to rail but I cba to find that right now
I remember reading the review in Sidewalk of the Storm and being so hyped to hear that Dave Mayhew had done a front tail impossible out. When I finally saw the footage I was so disappointed to see what he actually did was a front tail 270 shuv.

I have another cracker about Mathias Ringstrom’s supposed Casper. Guess I’ll save that for another day…
Check the enders in Jamie Griffins part on the footage thread.
