Still find it bizarre that andrew brophy is pro for Girl skateboards

Dunno why people on slap dislike the move so much. Yeah he’s not young and yeah he’s not gonna put out a part like cliche parts of old but he’s still sick

The reason is in his name, nothing more.

How is it even that though? Has he ever even put out a full part in his entire career? He’s hardly a name

Yeah. Is he just a super nice guy or something?

I think he 360 flipped over a table once.

Not dismissing that in and of itself, but that’s literally all the footage I can recall of him

Isn’t he barred from leaving Aus or something?

Life could be a lot worse than that tbf.

In this thread I have learned that some people don’t appreciate great skaters

Can’t see where anyone said that?

Fair enough, guess I should stop reading between the lines. Brophy sold decks on cliche and I bet he sold decks on girl, despite not having a “full part”

They fucking spelt it out on the site

It’s not like he joined a team of active legends and proved his worth or anything though is it, he just joined when many had left and the brand was a shadow of its former self. Not sure why that would annoy anyone.

Where Slap commenters do have a point is his cringe comments on insta :grimacing:

Ohh noooo what’s he done? Is this going to make me sad?

Pro-trump, heard it from a mate that knows a lot of people.

I’d never seen this before. He’s a good skateboarder, and makes sense if he’s mates with them, fair enough. And he seems to have a following as well which obviously helps sell boards. But there’s no way he would have got on 2003 era Girl.

What do you mean “parts”?

I think he’s only ever had one full part. In anything.

Twelve years ago.

And for a different company.
