Yeah, to be honest I solely meant Supreme and Palace. But skateboarding generally does not feel like the hot-current thing that the fashion world is looking at like it did a few years ago.
Not sure what to make of ADWYSD. I would never have known they existed without them being mentioned a few times on here. Feels like one of those very region-centred sub-Palace ‘skate’ brands that every biggish city generates, except this one is in London.
I like Always they all seem cool and like the positive vibes they push which is refreshing but yeah agree it would be nice if they put their stuff in skater owned shops.
The size Always has got is pretty mad- I first saw it on fashion students and similar types before I even knew it was a skate brand which is pretty mad. Same with Drama in Manchester, absolutely huge and came out of seemingly nowhere
Not entirely sure but they seem to be pretty massive, especially in the Manchester area. Very much a ‘street wear’ brand that are now dipping into skateboarding and hooking up Leo Turner.
They do these £10 t-shirt sales in the streets out the back of a truck and have done them in front of Note a couple of times. I’m guessing with Note’s approval? The owner of Drama hit up Welcome asking if they could do a similar thing in Leeds and set up outside the shop with some kickers and ramps……he evidently hadn’t been to the shop and didn’t know we were in quite a small arcade
