Yeah, to be honest I solely meant Supreme and Palace. But skateboarding generally does not feel like the hot-current thing that the fashion world is looking at like it did a few years ago.

Not sure what to make of ADWYSD. I would never have known they existed without them being mentioned a few times on here. Feels like one of those very region-centred sub-Palace ‘skate’ brands that every biggish city generates, except this one is in London.

They’ve blown up in the last year, definitely not regional any more imo

Kids are always going to want hoodies, tees, caps etc.

Don’t think streetwear will ever die just the hype brands coming and going

They come round to your house and stitch it together for £263 though :sunglasses:

Anyone else find it ummm……interesting….that Always don’t have accounts with skater owned stores and opened up their pop-up on Skate Shop Day?

It’s just that middle aged men will feel more and more distant from the new people making it.

The cargo pants are £343. I think @jimo might be right. Do they actually expect to sell any of these?

Edit. They’ve sold out!

Kinda backing them doing fingerboards

I like Always they all seem cool and like the positive vibes they push which is refreshing but yeah agree it would be nice if they put their stuff in skater owned shops.

Even if it was just the boards and a few tees…

So this is why I have never really encountered them.

Thought this was a pretty funny board though:

They might only have had 10 pairs though

I was at a vintage fair/music fest thing in Wakey on Saturday and the amount of people wearing Palace, Supreme, high price WIP etc was quite shocking.

The size Always has got is pretty mad- I first saw it on fashion students and similar types before I even knew it was a skate brand which is pretty mad. Same with Drama in Manchester, absolutely huge and came out of seemingly nowhere

I can’t take Hardbody seriously, everytime I hear the name I just hear Mac in Its Always Sunny saying it

I just think of American Psycho.

Think Clive Dixon was skating Hardbody boards for a while after leaving birdhouse a couple years ago. Bit of an image 180.

I actually meant more for the brand than Clive. You know those rumours of people being paid off to stop using a brands product in public.

Not entirely sure but they seem to be pretty massive, especially in the Manchester area. Very much a ‘street wear’ brand that are now dipping into skateboarding and hooking up Leo Turner.

They do these £10 t-shirt sales in the streets out the back of a truck and have done them in front of Note a couple of times. I’m guessing with Note’s approval? The owner of Drama hit up Welcome asking if they could do a similar thing in Leeds and set up outside the shop with some kickers and ramps……he evidently hadn’t been to the shop and didn’t know we were in quite a small arcade :joy:
