The Gucci collab legit might be the worst collection from Palace I’ve ever seen. If you lit it all on fire no-one would bat an eyelid, truly an epic level of waste, it’s the kind of collection that will look incredibly dated in a couple of years.
It was bad enough when they were larping as middle class “rude boys”, now this they’re going for the reluctant fashionista crowd the Gucci collab? It looks so so bad.
So glad I don’t wear it.

Isn’t that most fashion though? It keeps evolving and changing or people would stop buying it, if it was the same every year. Don’t mind the caps but they’ll be a grand or something. If everything is priced out of an average skaters range you have to question it a bit.

What Palace do with their clothes doesn’t bother me, if they do a collab with gucci why not. Isn’t it just cool to think that it’s mad they can pull off a collab with Gucci. How does that sort of thing even come about?
Like Lev said in that interview he pays the riders on time and they don’t need to worry about anything else. He took Morph on as a full time filmer when he came out of prison. And they have some awesome UK riders - Brady, Chewy, Lucien, Rory, Charlie etc

Exactly that. Some of the shit I like and can / can’t afford it. And plenty of stuff I dislike I can / can’t afford.
Juventus one is still absolutely bonkers to me.
I think all that Gucci stuff is dope and would wear a few bits if I could afford to. Graphic on the raglans is sick. Hopefully get some less mad priced Palace trackies soon cos they make the best ones.

I said this on a post on Slap that was off about this collab, it’s not really considered a skateboard company by most now due to the fashion side of things with these collabs.
Selling pricy garms to rich kids is great because they are able to sort out ‘skate side’ of it out by sorting the riders with a good pay, product, go on trips and put out edits.
There are worst things some companies have done in the past (and present) anyways.

I was just looking through the Palace web shop. I’m more into small logos, if any. Nice decent zip or regular hoodie with a decent embroidered triferg is more likely to get my money. No back prints. Subtlety and being a boring old fuck is my thing these days.
Anyhow, the comment on this made me laugh…

Weird one.
Going off their Insta looks like some Palace branded DLC cars for the Need for Speed game. Might be one the tackiest/ corniest thing Palace have done, of all the games to do it for its some dead EA shite. One of the worst companies in gaming.

I was quite stoked on the Need For Speed bits. I quite like the NFS games; this one looks a bit odd but I’ll likely give it a go if it comes out cheap. Palace being in it is a weird choice but it’s just a confluence of two things I like, so only ever a good thing, to some extent anyway.

There’s also juiceboxforyou stickers in the game which is a group of mates in Ireland. The lad who films all their vlogs skates as well, he sells a few boards as well.
