Sky is so ominous in the second one. I slightly covered up the left side of the picture with my hand and I prefer it with the skater centered but that’s just me

, think I’ve been taken landscape stuff too much so never thought to crop in there. Was getting a bit overcast, ended up exposing more for the sky than skater it seemed, I’ve popped the original below so you can see where I went wrong lol

Been experimenting with a ND16 filter (-4 stops):
Shot at midday so the sun is right in the middle of the frame. I admit I had to bring up the shadows quite a lot in post but overall I’m really pleased with it. I do like the dirt in the near foreground and the way his front arm is all twisted.

I’ve been looking at filters for my fisheye lately, and found a place that sells clear and ND filters for fisheye lenses, it really is tempting, more so after seeing that shot, came out great. Able to share the original? Be good to see how it looked before the tweaking.

Irix edge gelatin filter set - they’re 29mm square and go in the back of the lens.
You can see the flash in the unproc version, it was just angled up to his face

AHH, tbf my sigma lenses take filters that way I think, need to look into them.
Managed to get out over the weekend and got a handful of photos, one below is one I was most happiest about mainly because the trick didn’t get obstructed haha
