If ya rail’s not down you ain’t comin’ in
One flash seems to be doing plenty from what I can see there, lovely shot
Also seem to be seeing more n more on boards like that, and it reminds me on my first ever one with shitty plastic trucks, grab rails and tail block…I now want another new setup again
I got myself a G&S Blender Rocking Dog reissue as a lockdown present. V.little concave and a tiny snub nose - it looks lovely, don’t think I would skate it for real though
Go easy with this one
, first time shooting a full pipe and actually needing to use a flash..won’t lie though beats shooting at the skatepark and happy with the outcome
Looks like a giant Hula Hoop, as in the crisp.
Aha yeah pretty much @Mush, dodgy cutout thing on the other side as well, wobbles like crazy too
That looks sick, fill flash to get back of the loop would’ve been nice
Cheers @Mark, I tried with flash off camera further back but wasn’t giving enough lighting to fill the needed area. I’ll have to consider bringing the second flash out in future, that way can have one on skater, and one to fill.
Edit: or I don’t angle the flash directly at the spot, that might of helped actually.
2nd edit : chucking one of the other I took to show the full pipe/sculpture
Amazing shots @Warwick that very looks brilliant too
What’s Blackwell’s stance on a no-deal Brexit?
I thought he said had some major part in the negotiations
Depends how depressing enough it is for him.
@Warwick I like the (almost?) front rock and the one after - is that a fakie ollie to truck bash?
It was a frontside rock. The other was a frontside ollie to truck bash, if I remember rightly. He made it most times but the last one he didn’t- ended up with a separated shoulder
oof, then that angle is him travelling into it rather than just angling for maximum noise - gnarly.
Get well soon him.
The ramp is getting some seriously good skaters there these days. The Smith grind at the top is Sean Goff, who can still cut it. The guy who rebuilt the ramp this year has just finished a new one in a garden near Southampton - same size, but without the roll-in
What is the deal with the ramp these days? I went once but it was a long drive and we could only skate for about 40 mins because of noise complaints.
