I had no idea you spoke French pal. Brilliant!

Maybe you don’t. You can skip the Donovon episode for sure. Jake Anderson’s wasn’t bad but definitely not exceptional. I really liked the Toney Ferguson episode though.

I bet it’s pretty decent. You guys always pretend you don’t speak any foreign languages then Smoke often surprises me with sick puns in Frenglish.

Smoke is sick, tho. That’s why he can do that.

I haven’t listened to this yet but I have no doubt that it will be hilarious.

Can confirm.

Especially his selling product/scamming stories

also a really poignant discussion about steve75 and his death.
big up neil

enjoyed the Harrow TLB story. remember seeing his tricks in the headache issue of RaD

also, this part really stood out - switch noseslide on a handrail was rare internationally, let alone for the UK

Lee Smith can tell a good story, radness

If you offered me £5000 I couldn’t tell you one trick I remember Lee smith doing. Video, photo nothing.
That menace group photo on the back of the car is all I got.

I think can definitely remember a nosegrind variation of sorts on a picnic table. Shoe ad. Axion perhaps?

This section is Amazing, especially considering this is him at the peak of his heavy drinking and blowing it in Barca era.
He should of got on chocolate the same time pappalardo and Calloway did.
Stand out mental stuff in this part is the no scrape cab flip at 00:50
Fakie flip fakie manny up the curb at 1:52
Two lines- one with a backside flip nosegrind, the other with the same but switch. Starts around 2:40
And his ender which is the trick I always think of immediately when I see his name, switch 360 flip a road gap into hill

If you haven’t seen the section, I can’t recommend taking out a few minutes if your day enough. This is lordz era plaza skating at its best, with some nice sprinklings of SF in there

When I think about Lee Smith the first thing that comes to mind is a sequence he had in TWS in the late 90s, doing a front shove backside nosegrind revert at the Venice Pit, landing kinda weird but kinda cool.

Does that switch in a line in that part I posted. He doesn’t get the respect he deserves

He could have been a bigger name than he was. Do you think he was never that fussed? He was involved in all these different eras of skating: emb, girl/chocolate, lordz/cliche euro hype etc. I just remembered he was in the first cliche gypsy tour. Really good skater. Really good at shit-talking also

hugely underrated video that, probably because of the looming shadow of Penal Code 101a

this part is fucking amazing too.

“Since the police let me out the pen, I been stacking hella Yen”

That Think video is criminally underrated. Even Cody Mac has a good part.

Now theres a string of words I’ve never seen bunched together before.

Yeah mate I know, I watched it again yesterday and had that song stuck in mind while skating later. He was pretty skilled and seems to have turned into a really sound guy but I suppose his attitude (which he mentioned) did not always help him.

I really should do a front shove backside nosegrind revert some day.

Lee Smith sections amazing but someone should’ve told him to re-do the ‘back smith’ at Sants and not bother with that bigspin then shuv. Always stood out to me as bizarre in an otherwise very tasteful part

‘I don’t like bigspins, I can’t really do them that well but everyone’s doing them so I’d better stick one in the part’
