Pretty respectable getting Parra to do it too.
Imagine buying that for the Mrs:
“I got you a present, the French Olympic skate team uniform!”
“WTF you dickhead?! Why would I want… oh…”
#unexpected
I quite like the tees, kinda got a late 80s tennis vibe, Aggasi, Edberg were starting to wear more colour.
Thing I don’t like is the length of troosers. Ankles on show puts me off watching skaters for whatver reason.
Cargos are sick. Shame they aren’t (a non-joke) camo
PREACH
Not skate-related, but I’m really not into the current thing for wearing half-mast trou with white sport socks and normal shoes (not trainers, shoes) . I thought we’d got over that sort of thing a while ago.
“The USA jersey is inspired by basketball jerseys and features a bald eagle stitched on the lower left of the jersey. The Brazil jersey is inspired by football jerseys and features a toucan, which represents happiness, on the lower left of the jersey. The French jersey is a nod to traditional tennis jerseys and features a Rooster on the left chest.”
Nice touch. All recycled too, which probably means super expensive for anybody buying it.
I think I’m too old to say ‘on trend’ so I’ll stick with ‘cool’ & practical.
Cut the grass in the morning, pop down the park for a quick tick tack in the afternoon.
Gotta love that crimplene aesthetic.
With Freedom Fries.
Such a Cliche.
If anyone is interested I am commentating and talking nonsense with James threlfall for the game of skate and best trick comp right now here for simple session
Can you hold off until the back of five? Cheers.
Tuned in… best trick about to start.
Dude filming and zooming in is doing my head in.
Fixed camera about a minute ago was good… but over too soon.
This comp gives me jitters…
I looked up flight prices years ago and it was cheap as chips, so asked Joe Paget, Adam Keys and some other south coast guys if they fancied going, being that it was the middle of winter without anything to skate they were actually keen, so emailed the organisers and we all entered.
I’d been working 7 days a week for a couple of years at this point, and didn’t consider that I may not have much control of a skateboard anymore.
I didn’t land a single trick and came dead last in a televised competition, stoked.
Anybody mounted there tele above a working gas fireplace? Wanna do it, and naturally want to hide the cables but ideally do it with out using conduit. Considering chasing a couple of holes through the chimney breast and feeding them through but unsure if it’s safe and if there’s any other options. Any help would be appreciated.
Sounds like worst idea ever. Make the conduit around.
