yes, awful people.
have it in the corner and put a mirror up there.
Or get a projector and be done with it
Have the TV at eye level like any normal healthy person. TV’s on walls are silly and probably fuck your neck up.
Planning on wall mounting here too but not at a great height.
It will create space by not having to have a stand for it.
Keelan Dadd - Gary Glitter
Ha found it! That spoof insta Olympic federations account had this pic saying something about savile nursing a young Neil Hendrix after a bad slam !
It’s NEAL Hendrix goddamnit.
Not where Savile was concerned, it was ‘kneel’.
Wow. This wind is nuts.
Can hear stuff being blown all over the place.
Had to get up and rescue stuff in the garden.
Also, neighbours recycling bin had toppled and started emptying all over our drive near my car so I’ve picked all that up and moved it… Just blown over again.
And hit and scratched my fucking car
So British.
Am at this skate event in Estonia, Simple Session, and every single kid has those wooden cup and ball toy things (Kendama?). Like every single kid. And some adults. Weird. But better than being glued to a phone I suppose.
Oh god now there’s an actual ‘session’ and it’s on the big screen. I think there’s going to be some kind of ‘battle’
They are actually taking ‘runs’
One of the tricks is called a ‘lighthouse’
Is that a cup and ball trick?
Apparently, yes
Simple folk.
Tell them about the power of wind.
ESTONIA was the answer to a cryptic crossword clue in today’s Observer. Country song I Eat Bananas lacking gravity (7)
Anagram (bananas) of ‘song I Eat’ less the g (lacking gravity).
Ah right, so zero g.
I get it, but fucking hell, you had to walk me through it.
I found this article helpful:
I often guess the answer but can’t parse it. There’s a good website that explains each day’s crosswords at http://www.fifteensquared.net/
It’s a distraction from thinking about trousers.
Nah that’s over thinking it a bit. The scientific shorthand for gravity is g.
There’s basically like a million abbreviated words in cryptics that usually means you use or take away a letter in an anagram like the one above.
Some of them are pretty obvious like a clue that mentions a chemical element (a really common clue is to say ‘without oxygen’ which just means without the letter O) but some are hard to understand after you’ve got the answer.
More here:
I got a little book on how to solve them years ago. Over the space of one shit I got the jist of how you tackle them and then got this app which is great for beginners.
