Were you trying to cool a fairly large office space?
Would they do the job in a smallish lounge space?
They were way too big for the quoted space, and way too shit for the price I paid. Basically should’ve easily cooled the office. Maybe took the temp down by a couple degrees. Not enough.
They were freestanding units and this was years ago so I assume technology has got better.
You could go fully old school and just get a big block of ice and stick a fan in front of it (not a joke)

Car bass guy was back just now.
I looked out of my open lounge window to have a look and heard “we’ll back you up”.
Looked the other way and across the road where 2 sets of neighbours were out cheering me on.
Car bass wanker was leaving so had been there a while without bothering anyone.
I didn’t realise that anybody had seen me approach the car last night.
Not neighbours that I’ve had much to do with other than storing a whacking great boxed hot tub for them that was delivered while they were out once.

Glass came to stay with us when I lived in Paris. It didn’t drop below 35 most of the time he stayed and he spent most of his time obsessing over this.

That’s a thing of beauty.
Took one bottle off, the milk carton at the back, and it still works really well.
Closed all windows to the lounge and managed to shave a couple of degrees off the temperature while a gentle cool breeze blew around.

Just dug a couple of holes to put some posts in to put a pergola up and in one hole about a foot down it opened up to the side. I put my arm in and couldn’t feel the bottom, couldn’t see either, just looked like a chasm. Quite exciting but also worrying, had visions of the floor giving way and disappearing like you see on news clips. Dug a bit more so I could reach right in and it seemed just a hollow tube like gap, went deeper than my whole arm but I could feel all the sides. I dug into clay so I just stuffed it full of that and hope that it’s just a random pocket in the clay. There are mines all under the whole local area but i’m sure they don’t come up that far to me, we are quite high up a hill.
Sounds like a lone wolf finding his echo chambers and failed dramatically here. Good riddance
Wouldn’t surprise me if he was across the websites in the BBC Documentary, he’d be the perfect gullible candidate to swallow the shit they spout .
