Shows how mad the profit margin on a coffee is if they can factor in that many and it’s still worth their while. Unless it’s a gamble to get people to hopefully buy a baguette each time also.
Yeah gotta be a edged on people buying something every 2/3 coffees
I haven’t got any man.
I’m on day 2 of my new job and I feel like I’m a decent pub pool player who’s used to smashing up Barry Shitpeas in my local to being given a tour card to play professional snooker against Ronnie O’Sullivan at the crucible.
I’m trying to work out how to use the Google ads editor and Google data studio and I feel like like I’m drowning.
I’m looking at their existing campaigns and it’s just…
If you take a reusable cup into pret they give you 50% off the coffee. That means you can get a black filter coffee for 50p, which is great, but they’re obviously banking on you then spending £2 on a cookie to go with it
I can give you a tour of data studio over zoom if you’re interested. They using BigQuery too?
It’s pretty easy really, you’re looking at the same data that you’re used to. It’s just coming through in a different way. You’ll get it.
Yup I had that when I started at the old place and Ad Editor was mental.
DM me when you have 5 mins.
Can I sit in on this?
Yeah sure
Sick trying to learn more.
when is this happening as I may need to ask a very particular data studio question about funnels and car configurators
i’ll sign in under pseudonym.
From what I heard it’s pretty much Ibiza in Turkey with less cocaine and more fat German tourists eating sausages.
Istanbul is fantastic.
Transworld Uno credits maybe?
doubtful hugo will have time to see the sights with gaping holes stuffed full of gauze.
Ordinary carbon monoxide alarms or internet-enabled “smart” versions? £30 vs £125?
Normal
Why would you need a smart one? So you can turn it off from work? It only needs to do one thing, the cheap ones are fine. Just replace it after five years. I’m sure you’d have to replace the actual detector of the expensive one too.
Not pointless, just interesting:
amazing! I might take you up on that. No to the BigQuery…it’s not needed for the dashboards they make.
They’ve purchased Supermetrics and I’m trying to figure out how to use it. It’s basically used to pull FB & Google Ads data side by side. I’m getting there…
Cool, let me know when you wanna do it, I’m free this weekend if you lads want to set it up.
I’m keen to hear what you think of supermetrics, I’m thinking of trying them for a client. You do much on organic or is it all paid advertising?
This Marketing Pro forum theme makes it really hard to stop thinking about work ha
if there’s any mobile stuff it’s worth asking them or finding out how Supermetrics will handle IDFA changes - Facebook has already said Apple can go fuck themselves, but google are playing along for now - so if one major data source is going to go blank in the near future then there goes the side-by-side stuff…
Just read that there’s a plan to redevelop my hometown skatepark, which is great, but it made me feel incredibly old by highlighting the fact it was built 17 years ago.
I remember being there on opening day
