You torqued your switch crooks too much, which is likely to happen if you don’t go fast enough. Do it thinking of a slightly tweaked switch backside nosegrind so you can get confident doing them. Before you know it you’ll be doing them well, with that perfect 45 degree angle.
That sounds ominous, like stage two is a week later or something. Sounds like I need to quarantine for more than 14 days. Not had my results yet though.
Here we have to quarantine for 10 days as soon as we get the first symptoms, even if we get tested later.
For me it’s been like this so far:
- day 1, headache
- day 2, diarrhea, tiredness
- day 3-4-5-6-7, muscle pain, stuffy nose, chills, tiredness
Day 8 now, feel like I’m slightly, slightly better but who knows really?
Today’s phrase that annoys me:
‘if you know you know’
Urgh fuck off.
Uttered 100% of the time by people who do not know.
Classy caption.
Holy shit.
Golf is the worst but that was amazing.
WOW
Just to see how far from skateboarding I can take a post on here, has anyone ever learned or tried to learn the banjo? Really fancy something new to learn and focus on in these unprezidented timez and I think they sound rad. Well the bluegrass stuff anyway. My theory is the new baby in January will be instantly lulled to sleep by the gentle plucking of my strings. Any advice, hints, tips?
Not actually played one for a long time but like the violin, it’s one of those instruments that sound awful for a good while until you get the technique going. A guitar you can do anything you like and get something cool but a banjo, while the chord structures are easier more like the ukelele than the guitar, the work is in the finger picking. Once you have worked your hands into shape and you can use numerous fingers with rhythm, it’s quite cool.
banjos aren’t gentle, are they? they’re fucking raucous.
I always thought I was abnormal for being unable to do slappys.
I can do slappy tailslides and shitty backside slappies but don’t even find them that interesting to be honest. Popping into a trick on a curb or doing manuals on a pad is more my cuppa. I skate a miniramp if I want to carve into a grind.
Some people can take slappies far and make them pretty rad and interesting but most people I see doing them do them badly like they do “creative” no complies and it’s part of that 90s revival thing kids in pyjamas are doing and it’s all a bit stinking and regressive in my eyes. Not saying progression is adding 2 extra steps or anything like that but all those slappies everywhere are just too much and don’t inspire me that much.
‘this one’
‘vibes’
and when talking about covid ‘if youre gonna get it youre gonna get it’

Just bought a posher stereo as my trusty/crappy NAD giving up the ghost. All my electronics, speakers TV are white in the living room so I thought i’d google white amps and CD players. Was taken with an old Linn Classik K system. Meant to be real nice.
Just A-B’d both systems on headphones and they are wildly different but not sure which one I prefer. I just wish it was clearly better then i’d just whip out the old one and be done but it’s so subjective that i’m not sure if I can bother with the upheaval. It’s a smaller system too so I need to build something above as my white turntable is wider and won’t sit on top.
First world dilemmas.
This sounds really bad, going to need photos.
At home with littlun so it’s not the tidiest, just built him a den.
was going to say, with all white stuff you must not have any kids but there ya go.
