Finally got off my arse and went to find a local curb suitable for slappies.
Found a rad mellow, somewhat angled one.
Went at it with a rub brick and some enamel spray and it came up a treat. Tomorrow will be it’s maiden voyage.

Today was my first skate in months, so was feeling very rusty and frontside slappies have always eluded me at the best of times.
I will have them in the not too distant future hopefully

Approach at moderate speed and a 45 degree angle. Front foot over the bolts, drive the front truck into the curb hard, as soon as you feel contact lean back and slap the back foot and back truck against the curb. Shift weight towards the back foot. Grind. Ride away clean.
