It’s def a Dibond or substitute material, decent quality too as the ali skin is thick. But how do you know they’re meant to be risers?
You can see the holes in the original photo and they are the same length as the baseplate

I remember years ago when my mum worked at the McVities factory she brought some conveyor webbing home which I cut up as risers and ollie patches. My shoes were well progressive looking, would have looked at home in Spanky’s new book.

They used to use loads of rubber matting calling webbing for the conveyors. Loads of different types, smooth, grooved, nobbly, spiky, crazy etc. my shoes looked like dinosaurs at points.
