Yea buddy!

Edit - don’t expect any tips. We let everyone in the family bet on whichever horses they like the name of

Yeh. I tend to pick based on the name and the jockey’s colours. The horse’s form doesn’t really come into it. I did put a small bet on cloth cap as it’s the favourite, We’ll see if that means anything when it comes down to it

I always knew Death In June were wrong ‘uns.

Yeah, always have to put a few long shots on, the favs will all fall one year, it’ll happen. Only time I bet really. If the fav Cloth Cap comes in, I’ll have covered my betting money too and break even. Smart betting, if there is such a thing, haha.

Yeah I’m the same. It’s the only one I tend to bet on. It’s a bit of a coin-toss. I remember winning on Silver Birch years ago which was a total outsider but a lot of the time it’s one of the favourites that gets it. I’m weighing up doing a last-minute bet

any of you ever been to the races? we used to go when we lived in London. quite fun. i’d back the favourites and lose appallingly. my wife would bet on colours and names and do really well

I’ve been to Goodwood before. Didn’t manage to win anything haha.

I got Balko de Flos each way with a couple of quid

We have Catterick and Redcar on the doorstep. Usually everyone prefers a night out at the dogs in Sunderland.

Got third, Any Second Now, covered my lay-out with a few quid left over.

Got winner on the nose and third horse each way, but only by betting on about 5 other horses too. Came to about a £3 profit in total.

For the 3rd week out of 4, I lost out on a £400+ win on a football accumulator by a single very late goal. FEWMIN

You’re the dream customer. Go carefully.

Not sure a £5 a week account that breaks even most years is that dreamy to them but point taken

Haha wow I didn’t even notice that. Amazing. Such a brilliant extra twist to this email

Haha, wasn’t a dig. Just imagine the number of people placing massive multiples like that every day/week.

Baines’ MFWTCB part is incredible.

Use Hermes if you don’t want the person to get it.
