In the pub last night my gf and I came up with the idea of a Peckham scene video called “Send it like Peckham.” If any filmers from the area are reading this you have permission to use this brilliant idea, just give us credit.

What’s that setting you’re supposed to turn off on new TVs to stop things looking weird?

If it’s the thing that makes it looks like a DMT trip it’s motion smoothing.

We relegated our new HD TV to the kids to game on. Anything filmed prior to 2010 looked shit. Anything filmed after that you had to tailor the settings find a sweet spot

I just want a large normal TV

Thanks, looks much better now!

Element’s Wolfeboro stuff is really nice, properly water/windproof and you don’t look like you’ve recently joined your local rambler’s association. They do everything from properly light to parkas as well.

Have this for walking the dog/summer showers and it’s great

Was just wondering if anyone knows the full story on Route One hate. I have heard that their boss was at a Trade Show talking about how his gameplan was to establish a Route One skate shop wherever there were pre-existing independent skate shops and to put them out of business permanently. I also know the history about them being a Kite Shop originally (Air Circus) and that they sold all the lame shit like Heelies and what not.

Reason I ask is that they seem to be on the move to try and legitimize themselves with the younger skate crowd these days and to bury their past. I guess a few independents who share city space with Route One probably received a visit prior to Go Skate Day asking if you wanted to collab with them?

It’s sad but obviously a collab between two legit skate shops is a sick thing and should be encouraged in all ways…but a collab between a skate shop that Route One vowed to put out of business and themselves? Surely there is no way that can ever be right?

Anyway, just shit talking and wondering if anyone has any stories.
