Yeah, she was relatively big news here when it all came out.

I’d need a bit of a refresher on the details, but it was definitely very mainstream.

I’ve no idea, sorry.

Ha sorry my sarcasm didn’t come through there.

Anybody keep up with timber prices?
I haven’t had to buy anything since early in the year and when I went to pick up some 3x2’s yesterday everything has gone up 80% since February, it seems to be getting blamed on Covid mostly with processing plants and supply chains shutting down and this being the knock on effect of them not being able to keep up with demand. I hope it goes back down again as things go slightly back towards normality because shit is adding up.

It’s been 10 years since I went to New York with my wife. It was a really hot summer so we kept heading into random shops to take advantage to their air conditioning. One of these random shops was Old Navy, where I brought a pair of boxers.

To cut a long story short, these pants are now a decade old and still in semi regular circulation. Can anyone else beat a 10 year old pair of grundys?

Guys, a box fresh pair of boxers is one of life’s small pleasures.

Spend £12 and treat yourself

I wear Calvin Kleins now but yeah M&S pants are bombproof, I had a pair for a good 15 years. Probably why they’re in trouble with their business model.

Maaaate it’s fucked, woodshops round here in Leeds told me most of them are going up 40% from this month. Just about to finish building the interior of a new studio and gallery and got most of the timber in may but still need a few hundred quids worth of stuff and no one was free last week to get it so we’re gonna have to chip in more to do it this week. So bad!

A mate told me when the guys at the merchant were kicking off about it he was like ‘oh brexit is it?’ And they all got all pink faced pissed off and instantly were like ‘no mate obviously it’s CHINA, they’re always to blame’

Yeah the TV/ film industry is having a nightmare Getting ply and timber too. The industry is is going nuts with the amount of productions on the go at the moment to catch up with lost content after covid .
Some productions have had to fold already because of the lack of crew and camera equipment .
The industry sucks so much timber from the National supply so it’s no wonder prices are sky high and a shortage.

But it not just covid that’s contributed, there’s a huge driver shortage too for deliveries thanks to brexit.

Its going to be an interesting year if nothing changes especially as inflation is climbing rapidly.

Won’t be long before it’s all, “Well, that’s a nuisance, but hey - you can take your mask off and do that thing you like with your friends again! So it doesn’t really matter, does it?” from Johnson.

I had a massive declutter. My oldest clothing now are my Mischief tees that I won’t part with. I’ll probably be the same about my Legacy tees too, as you know I kind of like the people that own it too.

I got super into socks for a while there, when there didn’t seem to be many shoe releases I cared about.

There really only is so much you can do with socks, but Cav Empt, Palace and Stüssy all make the kind of socks you’d be happy to be buried in.

I feel like Blondey’s shoe was made to show case your sock collection.
