No they haven’t. I know of some insane collections that have absolutely zero internet presence. in fact one of those collections hasn’t been out of its storage locker for 20 years. These are some of the ones that this big collector is surfacing.

How do you know that? I don’t know even that and I thought I just told you about him? He seems to be a collector to me…he knows what he’s after and he’s going in on trying to collect it all.

Because of all this. Nothing you’ve mentioned suggests he’s ever skated, or gives a fuck about skating. He sounds a lot like a rich person wanting to buy ‘coolness’. If he was anything to do with skateboarding, or gave a fuck about skateboarding, he’d be showing these to the world, either online or in a museum or something. Just sounds like a total prick who wants everything he thinks is cool, for himself.
He should buy Yeezys and fuck off from skateboarding. Go into space or something. Still, he’ll earn the same amount of respect from skateboarding asMartin Shkreli got from the hip-hop world when he bought that album and didn’t let anybody hear it.
And if SMO has “the best collection on the planet” why is he reposting shit all the time? Why is he hiding all his H-Street, and all his early World stuff? Why’s he just posting the same Powell and Natas boards again and again? Does he just want to make sure everybody gets a really good look at that yellow Natas? Keeping that stuff (all his old World boards etc.) to yourself is a bit of a dick move.
At least we have Tim Anderson, who I reckon has the best board collection in the world - and also, quite importantly, a massive depth of knowledge about what they are, who drew them,. who skated them, what videos they were in and why they exist.

This is what I want to know.
Yeah Tim/Bobshirt/Mnc101 is well known too and he displays his boards and runs a website and stuff…but surely you understand that’s not for everyone? Also, he certainly does not have the best collection in the world. He’s got some sick ones and rare ones but SMO has next level stuff.
I’m gonna give him a shout and see if he’s up for sharing more info. Maybe he’ll turn out to be a total Brian.
Would love to see it. There’s a couple of real bangers on that account, but the rest would be good to see.
I just think when somebody is hoarding stuff like that, they should feel a slight obligation to share it. We’ve only got Art of Skateboarding and Cliver’s books (not that this guy will know that), so it sucks that these boards might well just disappear forever now.
He’s taking stuff from people because he can make them an offer they can’t refuse, and has no plans to let anybody else enjoy it? Sounds like a prick to me.
Errr this guy knows about Cliver’s books…he’s got a load of Cliver’s decks. One example I can give is the Bobshirt Manson/Peanuts repro deck…one of the best ever graphics…this guy has the original.
You mentioned he’d bought stuff from Sean, yeah. Guess it’s that one then.

There was one dude on eBay that used to buy fucking everything, all the grails, seemed to have bottomless pit of cash, I think he was from Florida. Used to talk about him on s&b bitd (2000 - 2005 maybe?) but I don’t think he ever showed off his collection.

Thanksss spanky fuck me man without going into too much detail took us a real long time to get here with some trauma along the way but everything going well now, I get an email every month encouraging me to post on here and I never get round to it but here I am and will try to post more going forward. My favourite past time playing and even more so following and watching is darts just love it and post a lot on a darts forum. Always been a forum nerd.
