im serious though, they are pretty much to a man scum. ive never interacted with any or seen anything positive ever come from them, just intimidation, crime, violence, trespass, littering, tax evasion, land stealing, its ridiculous that somehow the law just doesn’t apply to these people and it is continually turned a blind eye to as its their right to be cunts for some reason.
ive been in and around boxing gyms since my teens and have had many encounters with pikey boxers in the past and they are almost always cunts, “ah ill have a loit spar wit you there fella” 10 seconds in, throwing elbows and generally trying to take you head off. coming in issuing challanges, always with an entourage, never alone, usually with some dolled up slapper they can accuse someone of looking at.
few days later, gym broken into, cars broken into, vandalised, and they have surprisingly vanished.
yet somehow they are continually allowed to act how ever they like and it seems like they police have little to no power over them to do anything about it as no one ever wants to speak out against them usually through fear

I’m told that some of the problems created by them were dealt with in the past but the methods used were far from legit, now everyone is scared of them pretty much as you say.
When I was about 13 they descended on the field of my local skatepark for about 3 weeks and we could not skate out of fear and general harassment the times we tried.
One of the older skaters went there in the middle of the night and slashed the tyres of a load of their caravans and they fucked off the next day.
What a fucking hero.

I don’t think you can tar (mac) all of them with that same cunt brush. I have dealt with loads of fairly normal ones, and plenty that were varying degrees of cunt.
Granted, all have a pretty warped idea on what’s right and wrong but I think it all depends on how bad their elders are. At work we deal with people from a few sites and they are just dealers in caravans and motorhomes. probably not 100% legit but all seem to be honest enough to want to carry on doing their business with no troubles. These are fairly normal and there are way cuntier locals I can think of. Some we try not to deal with are just cheeky twats, they come in for their van signwriting and try it on to get it for dirt cheap. Others basically cunt you off completely and try and bully you.
When I worked for a company ( doing the same thing) A group of gypsy blokes came in and wanted a van doing, we quoted them a stuopid price and said we couldn’t fit them in for 3 months just to put them off, they agreed and left. Of course we didn’t expect to see them again but they turned up on the day so we relunctantly got on with the job. One of them looked like the hills have eyes and the sole of his shoes was hanging off and moaned about it so I said I could glue it while they waited, he was very polite and thankful. As we finished the van one of them came in and said he had a call and they have to use the van to nip and get a piece of machinery from down the road and would come back after to settle up. As if. We all knew what was up so one lad said the boss has gone out to quote a job and has the keys in his pocket. Which he did actually. That moment it turned ugly, they started to get abussive, The Hills have eyes actually growled at me through the van windows from one side to the other. After all I did for him as well ha. Eventually boss came back and they had a slanging match and we could all see that if we didn’t back down we’d have some bloody faces. Another van of them turned up and 5 blokes piled out. I picked up a long steel ruler and lurked around the van with the rest of us just in case. Boss made an executive decision and gave them the keys and they fucked off. Never to be seen again. Horrible feeling situ made worse by the fact that the company I worked for were twats anyway so I would have been annoyed about being fucked up on their behalf.

had loads of issues street skating in the past with travellers turning up, had to run/skate off a few times. the older ones are usually a little more chill, some of the kids are basically feral
Go on then but I’m not that great at spinning a yarn.
We used to street skate in Burton all the time in my youth without any real encounters. But one Saturday afternoon when I was 19 Myself, cuntflame and another one of our friends from way back when decided to skate the world famous Meadow Side Leisure Centre car park.
We were having such a lark until a group of around 8 undesirables started to make a b-line over towards us. I noticed that they were lobbing rocks up into the air on their way over towards us which got my back up.
They took a spot on a short wall at the side of the car park and started with the old ‘do a kickflip’ speel that we’re all used to and i just ignored, hoping they would soon get bored.
But as they were egging each other on, one of the group came directly up to me and demanded a go my board. As I wasn’t earning much back then I was obviously quite protective of it and said back ‘why the fuck would i do that?’
This may of come across slightly negatively as the pikie decided to start punching me in the face. Obviously I was quite shocked at this and it took me quite a bit of time to retaliate and hit them back and in doing this I managed to break my knuckle for my little finger.
Seconds after this the group of sub human scum pointed out that i had just punch a girl, (which non of us could of told) and we decided to leave the area at speed, leaving my L reg Nissan Micra in the carpark unlocked. Lucky enough it was still there later that evening.
I felt horrible for what had happened, and was hoping to put the events behind me. But a few weeks later whilst on a trip to the local pub one even, the mother of the pikie I had hit was out in the same tavern and word got around that I was responsible for striking her spawn. Being young, polite and very naive i decided to explain to her my side of the story.
She proceeded to smash me around the head until a police car arrived.
I explained to them what had happened and they took my details and took me home.
The next day I had a call from the police suggesting I come to the station as the family were ‘well known’ to them. Where they arrested me to show the family that they were doing something, and then let me off with a caution.
Fun times. I had a cast on for my broken knuckle and a very sore head.
A few weeks after the cast was off we went skating in a different town and i managed to credit card myself. Causing me to loose the ability to keep ‘it’ up. This lasted for 3 months, which is a very long time for a teenager.
2003 was rubbish.

Some travellers set up in a field by my local skatepark once, went for a skate and a kid was walking out the park as I arrived and all the skaters were quiet staring at him leaving, I asked what had happened and someone just pointed my eyes towards the fresh shit on the floor that the kid had just dropped… Kid was maybe 10/11 not a toddler…
There’s a big empty space next to my local skatepark where a gang of crusties settled for 2 or 3 weeks last spring. Two of them were old skaters and had sketchy setups and would (try to) skate with us, off their tits at 11 in the morning. They weren’t bad guys, just really really fucked up. I kinda wish I filmed their skating as they did land a few tricks and their style was quite spectacular.
