Heard so many stories of people getting their stuff jacked, people just appearing at the end of the bed or dodgy cameras installed about.
I think I just really like hotels too much to be honest too.
I’ve stayed in lots of airbnbs without any issues. The hosts have always been reliable. Generally the dynamic is different from hotels but you get to see places from a different perspective. The issue I have with them though is that in many central areas of cities now across the world longstanding tenants are being evicted from flats as the landlords earn more letting them to tourists on Airbnb.

I’d be ashamed to have my kid look like a gypo after what they just did to that policeman - which happened 10 mins from my house and had to drive past the crime scene which is still intact.

I’m sure the media had to say sorry (quietly), as it wasn’t Pikies, but kids off the council estate just around the corner.
It was 10 gypsies from 5 different well known sites in the area.
I will go past 2 of them tomorrow on the way to a meeting.
Word on the street which has been bang on so far, is that the cop car tried blocking loads of cars and vans in the road and the late police officer for some reason got out and tried to stand in the way or go over to another car and he got hit by one car than run over and dragged down the road buy another, which you can actually see in the photos.
I just went and left a few crates of water and biscuits from Costco there on my way back and the officers told me it was still an active crime scene and that’s why the are quite a few of the vehicles involved still onsite.
Those type of gypos won’t say shit to the police either so I bet they are now relying on hard evidence to charge someone.
Ah it was a ‘council run’ site, that’s where the confusion came in. Yeah, we have a site here and lots spotted about too. Nothing the do with the council, they wouldn’t let them on the land here. Just walking back before and three lads went past me on their horse and trap. It’s common here.
I didn’t even know councils provided such a thing, it’s a shit hole. I’m surprised they have a council run site where it is, it’s surrounded by nice big houses and big farm estates.
The other one I’m going past tomorrow is in a really wealthy area and they brought the land as farm land then moved in and built “summer houses” and live in caravans. Pure Gypsies these lot, really fucking nice horses, loads of birds in not a lot of clothing and cheap looking dudes in new BMWs and Mercs.
Odd thing is over the last 10 years I’ve been going down thier lane every week and they are really polite to you and very pleasant. Let’s just say I’ve never felt unsafe driving around there, if any thing… safe?

We had quite an infamous Pikey invasion for a weekend around 2000ish and while nothing bad really happened, we had some amazing run ins that lasted as skatepark graff for years to come.
