There was a mixed race kid in my year in school (late 80s, early 90s Ireland, which had minimal immigration at that point) who’s nickname was Sambo. He came to the school with a few blokes from his primary class and they all called him that. He even introduced himself with that name. Took me a few years to work out that he didn’t have a huge love of sandwiches.

I am in a whatsapp group chat where one guy is STILL forwarding sexist memes (think women doing washing up, etc). It’s like he thinks it’s the late 90s when you get your first email account

I guess he’s the kind of person that asks himself “why has this group chat gone so quiet?” more often than most then.

You could output your shopping list split up to x supermarkets if it works out cheaper overall to visit more than one
