There was a mixed race kid in my year in school (late 80s, early 90s Ireland, which had minimal immigration at that point) who’s nickname was Sambo. He came to the school with a few blokes from his primary class and they all called him that. He even introduced himself with that name. Took me a few years to work out that he didn’t have a huge love of sandwiches.
I am in a whatsapp group chat where one guy is STILL forwarding sexist memes (think women doing washing up, etc). It’s like he thinks it’s the late 90s when you get your first email account
Surely someone has told him to knock it off?!
It’s the kind of thing he will do more of if we tell him to, thinks it’s funny when it’s so boorish
I guess he’s the kind of person that asks himself “why has this group chat gone so quiet?” more often than most then.
Spent perhaps too much of my extended weekend making a full 2 week meal planner in excel. Pivot table to get a full instant shoping list. #midlife as fuck.
Now all you need to do is scrape the main supermarkets to compare prices
A google sheets api that pulls in live supermarket app prices. I’m gonna be a millionaire.
Then groups it to supermarket (then subgroups to aisle?)
You could output your shopping list split up to x supermarkets if it works out cheaper overall to visit more than one
Now you’re just getting silly.
mate if you’re going to do it properly, do it properly
Huge miss if you don’t include items currently out of stock in store. Kiss those millions goodbye.
This has been bugging me all weekend - who skated to the only one I know by the Charlatans? I can picture it but can’t quite recall it - possible an intro or montage.
Fully flared.
Was it the ‘royal family’ they called them?
French connection, trunk boys. They love trying to start a thing that never picks up.
Yer Brady and Jensen’s part. Crook ender is still savage.
Thanks, I should have known that, I’ve seen it a hundred times.
That kickflip that Jensen did on the brick bank spot is so good too
The one over the gap?
Yeah. Think it’s London (or was). I always liked how he catches it
It’s London I don’t know what the spot is.
