Many moons ago I went to a mates house party who was at Uni in Derby round the corner from this spot.

Party was winding down and I couldn’t find anywhere chill to sleep, so I went and slept in the front passenger seat of my mate’s car who had driven over.

Woke up some time later to the car moving and some weird noises… Turns out my mate was shagging a girl on the back seat! I jumped out and ended up wandering around Derby at like 4am.

Next day we skated this spot - good fun, but much harder then it looks.

Then we went back to Stourbridge to watch the council blow up The Multi in a controlled demolition.

The end.

Lol.
Wasn’t it Aldi originally though?

Hard to remember. Quite possibly.

My favourite Chinese in Manchester has always had 1 star. I defy anyone to get sick there . It’s always rammed, don’t think they even need a fridge .
And yes, it’s on there

Ditto the Jamaican gaff round the corner

I worked for a catering equipment company and can confirm the grubbiest kitchens in general were the Chineses. The walls, ceilings and floors are permanently covered in a film of oil and grease.

You could move things out like the wok burners and fridges by just sliding them out over the floor. Not actually joking.

Probably what makes the food taste good tbf.

There was a girl at work who used to bring in her own cutlery (wrapped in a bag) in to eat her lunch because ‘you just never know’.
When these ratings pop up I always think ‘who the fuck cares?’ and then I remember people like her exist.

Honestly surprised that basic food hygeine being a good idea is debateable but there we are.

Each to their own but I’d rather not eat at a place where rodents probably frequent the kitchen.

My stomach is awful - anything dodgy and I’m paying the price :weary:

Like ofsted and all of these things you can get an awful score by simply messing up your paperwork. On the other hand a lot of that paperwork will be around safety, food hygiene etc so it’s probably relevant anyway

Pretty hectic week. Feels like more things happened during the last 7 days than during the 3 months before that. Nothing super special, just so many things. Gonna have a bath and relax now. Yeah.

Got to make a visual for a mate who runs the local skateshop and wants to organise skate and barbecue sessions. Made something that works well in black and white but I’m not sure about the colour version now.

I think I prefer the first one but it might be too autumney? The second one has the text standing out more which is a good thing. Hhhmmm… What do you think? Ta!

Love that R.

Out of the two I prefer the first one in terms of colour combos but I agree the second one stand out more because the blue is tonally different, and in terms of hierarchy the title is most important. If I was to try some different options though I might try the green as a bright emerald/teal - it might make it a it less autumny? Or maybe a version using a hot pink instead of the blue, just to punch it up?
