Yeah my original question was what the first pro women’s street part was. I deleted it cos I thought it was an obvious answer, but clearly not haha

Q: First kickflip by a female?

A: Bruce Logan’s sister Robin. Back in the 70’s pre those new fangled ollie kickflip things though.

It’s a good question because Elissa is the first pro street part and can easily be found as such by Googling, but Google tends to overlook some of the people who are part of the story. Jamie Reyes was the only girl skater in any of the videos during the golden ‘93 til’ era but she wasn’t pro because the industry kinda sucked in that way back then :smiley:

Is this classed as a pro board? Not one of mine, haha.

I don’t have the energy for it, as it’s gone midnight here and I need to sleep, but can we pretend I wrote some really pithy comment about young black female skateboarders and people who are stoked on Cara Beth Burnside being a venn diagram with two circles drawn on separate bits of paper etc etc.

Taking the word too literally. Think the author’s just saying he’s stoked on her skating and art. Substitute the word legend with inspiration and it’s odd.

@Barf @anon28148673 @buildafire @nav i could literally read you lot bicker all day hahah.

@nav comment actual lol.

Nah its cool, Im probably just being pedantic. Legend gets massively overused so its a personal bugbear that annoys me more than it should
