Same here.
I like to say ‘wrong way round grind’ on street.

Saw that and thought my it looked like something fun to try and learn. Not sure drawing all over the ramp would go down to well at the local indoor though hahah

turn backwards, grind backwards, come out-y grind

Surely a “hard way” grind is the opposite of an alley oop isn’t it? A 180 5050 the hard way on a ledge is a front side Ollie when approaching frontside, or vice versa. Alley-oop 5050 on a ramp is turning backside when approaching frontside.

Instead of alley oop we could call it “the easy way” on a ledge.

Fully. I’ll bring birth certificate with my new Brexit passport when I get it.

i always took ally-oop and “the hard way” to be the same thing. backside 180 going backside over hip, backside 180 into grind approaching backside etc.etc.

That was my thought, yet in that mini ramp clip I attached allyoop (as I’ve always known it called on transition) is just 180 fakie 5050, but on a ledge I’ve always known it as a hard way/gonz/westgate 180 to 5050

Also see blindside …

If someone said bs ollie over the rail, the hard way I’d know what they meant.

I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere an old mini ramp clip of bam doing a hard way 180 to fakie 5050, essentially like a sugarcane but rotated fully into 5050

I’m looking a doing a short degree in France and have just learned that Uni in France for a national or EU citizen costs 170 euro a year.

Did a company (probably a semi ironic lol type- alltimers or dime) make a teeshirt or cap that instead of a company name says ‘back tails’.
Does that already exist?

Funniest thing just happened.

Last night I was playing Warzone video game with a non skateboarder friend and he’s got 2 other random people on the game to make up our team of 4. They were 2 English dudes, sounded a bit posh, one mentioned they have a meeting in central London at 7am and live in Surrey, other than that I had no idea who they were.

Just got a message from my mate saying

‘good games last night, those 2 guys seem ok, got in a random game with them them a few weeks ago and they invited me last night before you arrived’

One of their screen names was Ludihopii.

He then says

“That Lo chap started up H*ing, stakeboard & craftbeer company”

Hahahahaha. I replied back instantly saying PLEASE don’t tell him I skateboard.

I’m praying he doesn’t read this so I can play again and bring up random skateboard references and see if he notices and asks me if I skateboard.

Updates to follow.

Get him to say something racist and then make a YouTube video about it?

Just kidding. Was thinking more about going undercover as a skateboard enthusiast and asking really dumb questions or asking if I can send him a clip and see what he thinks, and sending him some amazing clip from a video he’s probably not seen from a skater who’s not around any more

try and get sponsored and send him really early YT clip of some kid learning to ollie.

Say you’re really into Jamie Griffin but worried he is now board sponsor-less. Get the inside scoop on why he left.

Use DeCunha as a verb for over egging the pudding.
If he asks about it just say you heard your mates use it.

Lie and say the IPA you’re drinking is so Berra and ask what they all think the ‘king’ of IPA’s is?
