Another pointless update, my dad won £50k on the premium bonds last year and he spent it on a new Volvo. Like you do if you’re 80.
It was ready for collection today…but my dad went into hospital two days ago because he became jaundiced and was feeling strange. He’s got some gallbladder issue and he’s fine but he’s in hospital for a few days until they can operate. He was gutted to miss collection of his car, but didn’t want to leave it at the dealer.
Anyway, my brother and my uncle (my dad’s brother) said they’d collect the car for him. They got it…then they sent me and him this video.
Twenty minutes later my uncle tells my brother to drive past the hospital. My brothers not sure what’s going on but does as he’s told. While he’s driving my uncle calls my dad and says ‘look out of the window’.
When my yellow jaundiced old man pops his head out, my uncle winds the window down and shouts some kind of abuse flicks the v’s and tells my brother to boot it
Anyone know what’s going on with Isle? Was it last year Shier was saying how they were going to get it going again and put the focus back on the brand? Then they released one new series of boards, but haven’t done anything since
Ha, I actually try not to lurk Slap too much - though i have just seen what you’re referring to.
I just got thinking about it after watching that Transworld skatehoarders video, becuase the Shier Fairfield’s Isle board is something I’d love to own but have never seen one come up so had a little browse on eBay, and went down an isle rabbit hole
