I’d say it was decent until Cold War. From then on it felt like had lost whatever made it rad.

Just had results to an intolerance test. Seems i’m not lactose intolerant like I assumed but some similar things. I’m 98% intolerant to chicken though ha.
Really interesting read, i’d recommend it to anyone who has issues with food or feels lethargic etc. Results give food intolerances, nutricional deficiencies, Metals toxicity and Hormone imbalances.

I keep meaning to do one of those, I gave up dairy recently and I feel so much better.

I also did one of those Atlas biomed gut tests at the start of this year and it was eye opening. Turns out my, what I thought was healthy, diet was absolutely not feeding my gut microbiome at all and I had extremely low levels of required bacteria. I had nowhere near enough fibre going into my diet.

12 months on after changing my diet based on the recommendations from the test, I genuinely feel healthier. My skin problems have massively reduced, my digestive system is much happier, I don’t feel as nauseous, I’d argue my immune system is stronger.

I’d recommend everyone do that test, or similar, if they can afford it

yeah definitely. This test does the Biome test included, mine came back with no anomilies though.

There was a discount with this company, £60 each or £62 for a couple I think. Well worth giving your DNA away for ha

Compare Zero to say Toy Machine. Zero feels a bit dated these days, it’s got the same approach, the same art direction, the same sort of team, and I’d argue this limitation is down to the hold Jamie has on it. He’s never let go of the reigns or brought anyone else on board to breath a bit of new life into it.

Whereas with Toy, yes it’s still Ed’s company and it’s still his overall vision and art direction, but he’s brought in other people to do the video, other artists, let people like Leo lead the team and bring in new kids. As such, Toy has always seemed different for each generation.

I’d argue there’s much more hype out for the new Toy video than there is for the new zero. I didn’t even know there was a new zero video coming out!

Toy Machine doesn’t seem dated? There’s a new Toy Machine video coming?

I don’t think anyone would argue with that!

I see it now. Should be sick. Here’s hoping for lots of Leo Romero footage.

*EDIT - what’s with the Toy Machine hairstyles of defiance thing? I don’t follow them on insta is this just a gimmick or is there some backstory?

I think it’s based on some of Ed’s photos - like photos of punk youth with Mohawks and skinheads etc . That sort of thing

Ah yeah of course he did a book.

I’m trying to find a clip of Penny and don’t know where it is.
It’s a nollie frontside pivot stall to fakie on a miniramp (like a chink chink off the nose, to fakie), he does it in a line on a miniramp, probably in England, in 95ish I’d say. It was in a clip of footage of him only, on YouTube I think, but I can’t remember where.
Does that ring a bell to any of you guys? Ta!

Yeah I think this was on St Albans mini, posted only yesterday iirc on insta, will see if I can find it

Didn’t @bygoneblighty post that yesterday?

Shout out to him, whoever you are.

There was some raw footage of Curtis McCann posted the other day somewhere that I didn’t get to watch and I can’t for the life of me remember where. Any ideas?
