Son came down to watch (too many) fireworks on telly - which was nice.

Just finished a game of Hues and Cues with the GF and the kids. Really good game until all clues ended up different grasses, sunburns or skies.
Need more vocab.
Dinner party with some friends and their kids. Got home about 2345 to get kids down.
My littlest’s birthday today so we spent a further hour and a half putting decorations up so got to bed about 1.30am when I’m usually in bed by 10 so I’m wrecked.
Also neighbours upstairs were partying and some dickhead was playing a drum till 4am. Who does that? I think any adult who deprives anyone else of sleep should be shot! Was too groggy to go up there in the end.
It’s 8.30am now and I’m up first. Waiting for the boy to wake up. Got him remote control excavator for his birthday.

These are the worst people in the world. I once had someone in a flat above me play Daniel Bedingfield I Gotta Get Through This on repeat at 3am. I nearly lost my mind. To this day, if I hear that song I instantly become pissed off.

We had a busker play/sing You Look Wonderful Tonight on loop for two hours a night outside our city centre flat for over a year. It was the only song he knew.

You’ll hear all sorts of horror stories about Maryhill, about how you won’t leave the Wyndford estate alive, and how most of the pubs are no-go areas, the canal path is all Wee Guys in ballies on scramblers, and the only thing going for it is the big Tesco. This is all accurate, because it’s a proper dump. You don’t want that Maryhill Vibe bringing you down. It’s handy (I suppose) for the DIY, which I suspect is why it’s on your radar, but you might as well just stay in the city centre. The city centre is a complete dump and it has been since Covid, but there’s more stuff you’re going to want to be around there. You’ll also pass the red banks on the way from town to the DIY.

When I worked nights, the terraced row that backed onto the ones directly opposite us used to open up their gardens and have big barbecues and that in the summer. That’s fine, not their fault I worked nights. But when it’s already hot and bright in the room and they play Despacito on repeat 17 times in a row, it began to get really testing. I thought I was having a fever dream.

Didn’t realise there was a diy near by! Just randomly stumbled into the area on the map and as soon as I saw the name Maryhill I instantly started singing the song in my head.

Wanting to bring out the new vid on a physical format and DVD seems too dated nowadays!

Currently figuring out a lot of command line bullshit to strip out any footage from tripod filmed clips where there’s no motion…
Yo! I used USB2U and we went for this style, the same company that @Londonskater and Magee used for Blips.
Just be sure to format the master USB that you send them as FAT32, and export the vids as h.264 mp4s for compatibility across as many computers and TVs as possible.

Got this batch of flu that has been going around. Feels different than the normal type. No snotty nose but a tight chest. Not coughing up cunks, just got absolutely zero energy. Not eaten any food since Thursday breakfast. Feel weird
