For absolutely no reason the bin men didn’t take my recyling bags (which are big reusable sacks) and now I’m locked in a battle of wills with the council who are basically going to do nothing about it.
Rubbish is piling up because i have nowhere to put any new recyling.
You’re always just one missed bin collection from anarchy.
I think I’m just going to have to lug them down to a public bin and stuff it full of my shit. Arseholes.

Probably goes without saying but, just in case, make sure that whatever you’re putting in a public street bin doesn’t have anything that can tie you to it, for example, an address on an envelope or similar. As useless or non commital as they are about righting the situation of your uncollected recycling you can be sure that they’ll more than happily jump on you for fly tipping and dish out a hefty fine. Council dickheads.

Just chilling, few cans of free damm, listening to tunes and snacking…
Was planning on having a nap and heading to the beach for midnight (usually some folks doing fireworks) but it’s blowing a mad one.

I’m sat in Berlin airport. Flights delayed by two hours. Just paid €14 for the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Have only eaten bread and meat for 4 days and my stomach is about to explode.

In Tenby with the family, bumped into some friends earlier who invited me to theirs for drinks but I’m gonna hang out here and watch my wife and kids put face packs on and massage each others feet.
We plan to head out into town to watch the fireworks at midnight so hopefully we’ll actually do that and they won’t just all fall asleep 
I’m about three beers in and full of crisps and fish and chips. Might not make it until midnight myself!

Just made the grave error of going to a Thai restaurant that also do take aways. After waiting 80 mins for the starters we cancelled the mains and have just got home with some chips 
After we’ve downed them me and the missus are going to have a 2-man rave.
Not long back from skating. Landed a one foot over the hip so that’s something new I’ve done to end 2024 on, could have easily not bothered tonight as I’m knackered but glad I did. Took a few smacks to my ankles feeling out back 180s so once I’ve had tea I’ll be icing them whilst playing through Halo 2 CE with my son.
I’ll probably be up for midnight but it’ll likely be me trying to keep the dog from waking everyone up because of the fireworks, then maybe an hour or so on Halo Infinate.

Did loads of things today, chilling at home on my own tonight, gonna watch some skate vids or a movie I suppose. Looking forward to waking up feeling fresh and going skating tomorrow.
We’ve got a sliding door cupboard type deal on either side of the chimney breast in our bedroom and today I condensed my clothes down and made it into a micro walk in desk/studio space.
We’ve just put on the Sydney New Year’s Eve fire works on YouTube and told our daughter it’s 12 so she thinks she stayed up all night to see in the new year.
Out for a country walk somewhere tomorrow

I’m with 6 other members of the family who’re trying to pretend we’re all at a party of 50 or so other ‘revellers’ and then complaining when it’s not like that. It’s been a really good, relaxed week away, so not sure why we’re suddenly all supposed to pretend we’re at the best party in the world, ever. Weird, frenetic energy going on when I’d rather just sit and listen to tunes and watch the fireworks on the telly.
It’s 11:24 and I just watched a 17 minute vid of Andy Mac.
Back when I was younger I was more into people like Mike Carroll and Bobby Worrest. My senile dementia is going well.

Put little girl to bed, watched Harry Potter with the lad then sat on the sofa drinking and eating snacks with the wife. Watched Carry On on Netflix which was pretty good, now watching Inglorious Basterds. Also bought a secondhand watch. As you do.
