Facepalm :man_facepalming:

I’ve given it a few months, but I think they actually broke 6music when they changed the schedule at the start of the year.

Its a struggle to listen between 10am & 4pm now. IMO, obvs.

I find these bits quite funny as it goes.

Possible spoiler?..

This week, the linguist / sweary bit made me laugh - esp when they beeped the ‘count’ of country.

Do any of you use mobile only banking apps like Monzo? If so, I’m curious about your experience.

The Irish Alan impersonator from last week made this series all worthwhile.

He played the look-a-like too. That is the funniest bit so far imo.

I loved it when they CG’d his face onto the school boy

“If you want one of them, you come see me.”

Yup Monzo is sick, then I have a Weswap card for when I go abroad.

St Ockwell made it in there

I use Transferwise for when I’m travelling, they have a debit card product that’s really good. Just bung money on it (in any currency) and spend (in any other currency) and it sorts out a better rate than any other bank card. Last time I checked anyway. I got a euro bank account now so I’m covered for euros as well as GBP.

Imagine all your town could boast was being ‘The Huddersfield of Wales’…

It is funny watching this play out in almost real time on social media. Jim Jefferies makes a funny clip, pocking fun at peoples views, including Avi, a Jewish guy who is anti-muslim. Avi had serectly recorded himself being interviewed. Now he has been banned from Facebook for sharing his version. JJ and comedy central went silent for days, they are now back on social media ignoring it, with all comments disabled on everything.

I can’t be arsed getting into an outrage-off but Jeffries can be funny but also comes over like a proper c*nt

You can just download what you want to keep, pictures, videos that you have posted.
De-activate will keep Messenger available if there are people that you are in contact with by no other means.
Alert them to a countdown for full deletion then pull the trigger.

I mainly use N26 (CMOAC) for my day to day spending, with a small amount spare in Revolut. N26 takes a little longer to sort out bank transfers, but it’s otherwise fine. Instant notifications when I buy something, good breakdowns on spending, that sort of thing. I used Revolut a lot more when I lived in the UK though.

I also have a sub for MoneyWizz (basically an overview of all accounts and spending), but don’t use it enough, stupidly.

I used Revolut for a while when I was bouncing between England and France but I had a couple of incidences of the card getting used by some random person in new york. It would block the card automatically but it would also hold the money they tried to withdraw for a while. I always got it back but I lost faith in it a little bit after that.

Revolut is also owned by some dodgy russian dude with questionable ties so I avoided them. Stoked on N26 for travelling and day to day spending, probably wouldn’t use it as a main current account though.

I’ve had a Monzo account for a couple years. Early on I used it a lot for budgeting. But now mainly use it for when I travel.

A lot of people I used to work with that were early adopters moved to n26 and sterling but to me they all seemed much the same.
