Very very cheap

Well seeing as one of them is holding up old paint cans and cobwebs and the other one is indefinitely landlocked that’s probably the best move.

Not paint tins… but def cobwebs. There’s also a cheap foam ‘bodyboard’ hidden on top of it.

We really should have all started a Fabricant company. Too late i suppose.

Not sure what we would sell. Over piced puffy shoes or boards with graphics drawin in ms paint?

Fabric was Cleveland Bod’s project through Native, or something like that, unfortunately Bod died and that’s why it never really went anywhere.
He was telling me all about it one night and his plans. Asked me to post a few things on here (well n26) about it too when it launched.

Anyone know anything about this? Obviously very surf heavy - and I certainly don’t need to buy any more surfboards.

The skate side of things could well be all that ‘skate’ stuff that is adjacent to actual proper skateboarding, you know, longboards, surf skates, cruisers and will be attended by people who call skateboards, ‘trick boards’, (they do, honestly, I’ve heard them). The ‘vintage’ swap meet thing might be worth a persusal though. ‘’ Inspiring Talks’ anyone? It’s more than likely going to suck and I could end up with yet another impulse buy surfboard to add to the collection, but if there’s to be a legit skate side to it I might risk it - it does look like there’s some degree of free entry.

Last thing like this, (aside from shit like 40 degrees), that I went to was Wind and Surf ‘87 at Ally Pally. I went with my dad for the windsurfing and surfing side of things. As soon as we got in I spotted the little vert ramp they had set up and who should be sat up on the platform but Eric Dressen. Every time they had a demo on that thing the rest of the trade show was dead as everyone was watching the skating. I barely moved from that area, just occasionally zipped around to get whatever freebies I could blag - I came away with a bunch of Life’s A Beach stuff thanks to some rep. There wasn’t a skate thing the next time as it sounded like loads of the windys and surfers had a moan up. Maybe they’re ready for round 2.
