What’s the Brink/Slap beef? Is he just a pain in the arse poster on the board or did he do something?
I only know of him from that Weekend Buzz thing, and was on his website recently for that MJ interview. Did he write for Transworld back in the day? Every time I’m on Slap there’s always someone with an issue with him.

One of the biggest, liveliest threads on Slap got deleted. The mod basically went, ‘Oops, sorry, deleted by mistake, never mind’, and everybody else went, ‘That doesn’t just happen, something’s up’, and the thread reappeared.
Could have been pretty much anybody featured in the thread that demanded it be deleted, but the main things is that it’s back. Or it was.

I wonder how important Slap is to the skateboard industry? Some of the threads get a lot of views, and the Aimu one must have boosted his profile.
Everybody I know who works in the industry in the US checks it.

Slap is fairly tedious these days. I look on Photos/Videos but I don’t really lurk anywhere else much.

Yeah someone started another one but the original was back after a couple of days. I didn’t think much of it at the time but amongst all the shit with Brink and now the whole thing being down it is a bit odd. That thread was the most viewed of all time of there

I could never really get into slap, check it maybe once or twice a year!
