Just had a Bish moment and was contemplating a baked bean baguette, could work with cheese actually. And some bacon.

Fish finger and beans baguette is banging.

Got to get the beans stewed down so you can stand a fork upright in them without it falling over.

Ham, cheese and beans toasties are class, so I imagine your baguette idea would be a go’er too!

People who do this, including you, should be long-term imprisoned.
Beans should only ever be gently treated when heating, so they don’t lose their beautiful natural form. If you get them coming out of their soft delicate shell, the bean is dead. To heat them into a formless mass is pretty much equivalent to genocide.

What’s your stance on refried beans?

Ah I bloody love them.
I should have said, Heinz Baked Beans.

I’m glad someone else understands the delicate matter of beans here.

I also can’t stand mushy peas, but that’s a whole different can of fish/kettle of worms

I love this place. 20 strong posts about slap going down, then a beans war starts.

Sticky beans forever.

Gentle heating and some black pepper is all beans need.

Agreed but for how long?

Cheesy chips and beans baguettes used to be the go to Friday treat in my old work cafe

Feel fucking horrendous after mind

Beans fuck my stomach up too much these days to eat them, which I’m really sad about.

But I used to love adding cumin, chilli, paprika, garlic and ground coriander to jazz them up for when I wanted fancy beans. Also they got to be thick, no watery bean juice

Brink broke it.

I’m a big fan of cold beans with hot food, adds a little contrast in temps which I love.
