Digging out the cold beans from the bottom of the can as a snack is one of the pleasures of cooking beans.

slap always looked like a sewer and jalapeno tobasco in beans is the best. I can eat either under or over cooked beans, depends on the meal. (meal being too strong a word when talking beans)

A little dab of honey in beans is absolutely banging. Especially on Toast.

Beans should be like sourdough, where you have a “starter” and each subsequent portion of beans is slightly different and evolving as a result. So you start with normal beans and you put a bit of squeezy chilli paste in, or a sprinkle of paprika and some coriander. Whatever. Then you eat most of those but leave a bit leftover in the fridge. Next time you do beans, add these in to the pan with your fresh tin. Maybe this time you’ll add a splash of peri peri or Lea & Perrins or brown sauce. Maybe all 3, who knows?
All of them cooked until the sauce goes gelatinous and cloudy though, no insipid watery beans. Branston or Aldi’s > Heinz as well.
I like a spoonful of Marmite in my beans…
But I fart a lot after eating beans. A lot. And they - my farts - smell gross, like my kids will be wretching when they smell them

Go for a bit of brown sauce and whatever dry herbs take my fancy and are nearest in the rack but I’m liking the sound of abit of marmite

I had my beans with a sourdough baguette. Olive oil instead of butter. Think I might have goat’s cheese instead of cheddar next time and add bacon.

Thrasher did have a forum way, way, back in the day. It was perma spammed by a user called Charles Edward Bauer or something like that. Like autobot spammed. They never picked up much traffic though - Transworld and DLX forums were more popular from what I remember.
All those forums got spammed with PJ Ladd hype too back when nobody knew who he was and before WHL came out.

Yeah used to post on TWS forum. No sign up was crazy, anyone could just post and spam. It’s funny thinking of a world pre PJ Ladd WHL and when that hype machine first rolled into town. First skateboarding viral marketing?
