An average speed of 20km/h, or 13 monarchy units per hour for those of you out there fighting against the tyranny of the metric system.

I read somewhere his last mile was 4.04, which is utterly fucked.

And the bloke who came second also ran under 2 hours, madness.

Right ok so he started training in Feb because of injury. And he’s won it twice. This guy is a weapon.

“ Remarkably, Kejelcha, making his marathon debut, became the second man to run under two hours in race conditions, finishing runner-up in 1:59:41.”

Savage.

What a nice bloke.

My wife is running the milton keynes marathon on Monday. Would it be wrong to entertain my daughter by taking her around some street spots while my wife is running?

No, but make sure to encourage your wife with her run and be there at the finish line.

‘Entertain’ might be a bit strong.

@MaxFacePalmer im not following round the whole thing!

It starts at the stadium. Not too far from Caldicot. That place is much nicer than the beige or bus station.

On the Marathon trend a colleague at work ran the London marathon. Finished 56th over all.

Was back in on Monday, well blasé about it.

Wasnt there someone on here (or the old place) talking about this?

Mad, just finished reading that then came here and saw your post.
The sound recording of that event is in this tune:

(Any excuse to post that tune though)

Possibly me - Harry Bastard and I went to a big MUFON meeting where people from that incident were speaking. I forget the main US airman’s name - Larry something maybe. Crazy night

All I can remember is reading about it on n26 and someone living near there, or having some sort of connection.

It got brought up on here not long again iirc. Someone said that UFO sightings only seem to happen in America and then people posted other well known sightings from other countries, including that one.

Lost 10 kilos. All my tees, shirts, jumpers and jeans are oversized. Oh well. Can’t complain I suppose.

Bang on trend then.

I cut out sugar and saturated fat 8 days ago and 6kg has fallen off. I’m guessing it’s mostly water and that will slow right down but feel better already.

I grew up close, still live nearby and seem to remember Voodoo being involved somewhere.

In the postings, not the sighting.

Part of one of the old air bases had houses built on it over the years and a good number of my friends live there now.

I’ll give that article a read - thanks.

I think my contribution was that I didn’t believe the ‘it was the lighthouse’ theories. As it was a military airbase that would have had to of figured the light from it into their night time activities and would be well known to them.
