Yeah someone is doing that on mine too.
I want to leave a note about how my 11yr old daughter uses it too, so that explains some of the questionable choices.
Was going to say the same, my six year old daughter started using mine via an Alexa and now my algorithm’s fucked. An interest in weird electronic music alongside an utter obsession with songs from The Greatest Showman leads to some interesting recommendations.

Don’t get me started on The greatest showman and the tunes. They are the worst produced noises ever. So brash and up front, it actually hurts to hear them. Whoever produced them is a deaf cunt. And that’s coming from me and I love a brickwall of sound.
Someone needs to show me how to use Spotify because I end up getting stuck listening to the same things over and over again.
When you can choose from basically everything in the world I can never work out how to even get started.
All those are amateur artists from what I can gather from looking them up on YT and they are all distributed by Distrokid on YT, so I would question whether there is a loophole in spotify (I have never used it myself) where distrokid can spam their artists.

Also on each band page there’s artists that are similar.
